I have major problems getting video to and from full screen on my mac.

First I have to deal with these unlabeled widgets:
(warning, one of them will piss off your friends)

Double clicking on the video seems to make DVD player go full screen, but Quicktime just plays the video in the window. In iChat, a double-click repositions the picture-in-picture. In iTunes, double-clicking opens the video in a bigger widow behind current window.

Keyboard commands would be okay, but I have to remember to use Apple-Shift-F in iChat and Quicktime, Apple-0 in DVD player, and no shortcut in iTunes. I can leave fullscreen mode with escape most of the time, but with DVD player, escape shows and hides the control widget.

Arrrrrrrgh!

I visited half moon bay again this weekend. I’m getting to like it there. Although this picture looks pretty, it’s caused by a bird that died not far away. Ewwww.

I picked up a new kite this weekend and had a blast! Check out the video (.mov) to see Guy and I doing some basic tricks.
